Your Pup will LOVE these!

You have to love your dogs to make this one, unless you are a fan of liver, but your dog will love you to pieces!!

1 lb. liver
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 egg
1 3/4 c. whole wheat flour

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Add liver, egg and garlic powder in food processor or a blender until smooth until mixture has the consistency of baby food.
3. Pour mixture into a medium sized bowl.
4. Stir in flour a little at a time, until you have a thick but pourable batter. Pour into into a greased 8"x8" pan.
I use Bakers Joy spray and the "large brownie" popped right out of the pan. It will be thick so use a spatula to spread out evenly.

Bake until dry, approx. 30 minutes. Cut into 1/2" squares. Freeze and use as needed. Yields approximately 30 servings.

I take out one square at a time from the freezer and cut into tiny squares for training treats.

The first time I made these treats, I was able to add and puree everything in my blender without any issue. The second and third time a small piece of liver got wrapped around the blade. Listen to the motor and if it changes, check to see that you don't have anything caught around the blades so you don't run your motor too hard.
